About this site

This site is built from two open companion projects. Both are rebuilt into the site twice a day, shortly after the tracker finishes its run.

Installomator-Tracker

Runs every Installomator label twice a day on a GitHub Actions Mac, the same way Installomator resolves it, and records each new version it finds along with its download URL, team ID and the time it was first seen. Over time that builds the version history you see on each title page.

Installomator-Metadata

Adds what the labels themselves don't carry: each app's name, publisher, category, description, keywords, website and documentation links, and its icon. Search, categories and the icons on this site all come from here.

How they fit together

Each build matches the tracker's version history to the metadata by label name, turns the icons into small web images, and publishes a page for every title along with the recent-updates list and search.

Help fill the gaps

Right now 5 tracked titles have no icon and 10 have no description or category. Installomator-Metadata welcomes contributions: open a pull request or an issue there to add a missing icon or category, or to correct a description or link. Fixes to the tracker itself are welcome in Installomator-Tracker.

The latest 100 versions picked up by the tracker, which checks every Installomator label twice a day. Dates are when a version was first seen, not the vendor's release date.
